Muddy again

To celebrate my new work schedule, sunshine, and sixty-plus degrees, I went to Oak Point this morning. The last four weeks have been very wet, so the natural surface trails were too muddy for me. Parts of Caddo Trail are closed for the construction of the zip line by Go Ape.

The biggest surprise was the missing fishing pier AGAIN. It isn't destroyed, as the old one was in the Memorial Day flooding. Instead, it is high and dry at the north end of Timber Chase Trail. And below the dam there's a good-sized pond in the low meadow.
