Been home three days with a head cold, having spells of lopsidedness, working jigsaw puzzles, and receiving unaccustomed channels with my little table-top tv antenna. The channels are in black and white, in Spanish, and in Asian languages. Oh, and in the QVC language of "drape" and "flow."
I haven't watched so much tv since my father passed away in the nursing home on this day in 2012. Binged on David Attenborough narration of bioluminescence and the Barney Miller episode about the deaf prostitute.
See the map? The gray area is the controlled burn earlier today on the west side of Jupiter road. A controlled burn is the same as a "prescribed burn," but not the same as your wellness coach suggesting you watch Jane Fonda exercise videotapes. The pink area is your irritable sinuses, or a deep ocean hot vent accessible only in a titanium submersible.
